Biography

Born in Naples in 1997, Cristiano Cardone is a writer and academic working in eerie, unsettling territories. He has published two novels—Fecola di Neve and Etimasia—and a cyberpunk thriller trilogy comic, CFBT. His short fiction appears in Don’t Submit, Apocalypse Confidential, Expat Press, and elsewhere, while he serves as fiction editor for Blood+Honey. A new novel is forthcoming in 2025/2026.

Cardone earned his bachelor’s in contemporary literature (2019) and master’s in Ibsen Studies from the University of Oslo (2021), with an Erasmus exchange in Poland (2018). He has presented at international conferences including the ‘Literature and Science’ conference at the University of Rome “Sapienza” and the XVth International Ibsen Conference in Nanjing (2024), and contributed as a research assistant at the University of Oslo.

Currently based in Oslo, he works as a librarian while pursuing a master’s in Library and Information Science at OsloMet (expected summer 2026). His practice bridges creative writing, academic research, and information science, with ongoing interests in scriptwriting and doctoral study.
